*gasp, wheeze*

I LIVE! Barely...

Okay, first month of school has been wonderful...if it weren't for the fact that I was absent for four days straight. *grumbles* Fortunately, my Algebra grade's back up to an A, since it was mainly review for me (thank heaven it wasn't chapter 2 and not chapter 6). History almost puts me to sleep, but we're currently learning about Ancient Greece, so I'm normally conscious still (at least it wasn't WA State History), Biology has been learning new tools of the trade (READ: MORE MATH), and I have reached a new typing record of 135 GWAM now. (Yes, Mom, I'm serious - a 3 GWAM increase from my last one now.)

Our first choir concert is October 25, and five days before that is Homecoming. One of my classmates who is in both my homeroom and choir classes thinks that I should try out for the upcoming homecoming parade with my singing talent, but I'd really rather not. I'll just stick to the new school play tryouts that are starting next week.

Homeroom also doubles as English, and my English teacher also doubles as the Journalism teacher. Apparently, I strike him as a Journalism kid, so now I have a personal invitation for Journalism class next year. I need to work on interviewing anyway. (I'm too shy for my own good.)

Let's see...two weeks ago the Young Women had a presentation in which I was singing as a soloist. Fortunately, no nosebleeds resulted at the end of it, so I am very, very thankful for that. Also, what do I do about people who accuse me about going out with someone when 1) it's only been a month into the school year and 2) I'm not allowed to date anyway? Because it's gonna start to become 7th and 8th grade all over again at this rate. I already told him to get a life, but I don't think that's gonna phase him. And due to the fact that I have the automatic older-sister-response system installed in me with taking care of kaijuu, I can't ignore him.

And that seems to be everything that's happened in the past month.
