Double, Double, Toil and Trouble

(...ignore the title.) Two posts in a day? *shifty eyes*

Okay...huzzah, set-up's done, we got out of Queen's Banquet faster than expected. Dona Nobis Pachem was really well done. Pastime With Good Company...sucked. No, really, it did. Completely MISSED the soprano note (and I know I didn't spell that right). Wound up with a bloody nose right afterwards (thank heaven for assistance from another Greenwood Player).

So tired... *KO*

Set-Up (It's That Time of Year)

(Wow, I made it sound like a song title...must be too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer...)

It's that time of year. The day after we deface public property and spend most of the day at the park putting together wooden booths and structures so that the faire may start tomorrow. And then there's Queen's Banquet tonight! Friends of the family are now here for faire. I'm going to have fun at set-up today. [/sarcasm] Not much time left - need to go.

[singing] It's that time...of...year![/singing]

And Then There Was GREEN

Eleven hours. Whoopee. Yeah, Dad already posted his blog message concerning the week-before-faire-minifaire. It's definately one week before Greenwood.

Okay, basically, the week more or less went like this: clean, random stuff that I can't even remember, and my memory gets SHOT. BADLY. Wends/Thurs I was supposed to go to a birthday party for one of my middle school friends, AR (not ARM), who I also happened to dra- I MEAN....introduce to Greenwood, only to have my brain once again use its 'stainless steel siv' function and basically completely loose the memory because I had what I call 'Greenwood shields' up - anything non-Greenwood related basically went in one ear and out the other. I didn't remember until Friday...where I had another birthday party to go to. Fortunately, since this one was in my e-mail, I REMEMBERED this one.

Said friend, who I will call NK, made the note when I arrived at the door with her birthday present that I was the last one to call but the first one to arrive. Thus, she came to the conclusion that there was something wrong. I made the remark that she was lucky that her invitation was able to get past the shields, since I had completely zoned concerning AR's party. Much fun to be had - due to last-minute shopping, all I got NK was a B&N $20 gift card, but she really liked that, since that meant she got to spend money on books (she loves reading as much as my family does). I even got to see another old friend from middle school who moved after seventh grade again! Unfortunately, both NK and said other friend are going to a different high school, but I have some good news: I saved a bunch of money on my - wait a sec, wrong line...

Real good news: I can still keep in touch with them now that I've got their e-mail addresses! *cheesy grin*

Last night also delivered proof that I am in full GREENWOOD mode - really weird Greenwood-oriented dream that involved a puzzle, hearing another one of the Greenwood members, and the completed puzzle having a bunch of green on it concerning mom in a green costume with a bunch of pine trees in the background.

(Random note - whoa, already this is my longest blog post to date.)

Minifaire - Much fun to be had as well, but mom and dad already covered that in their recent entries, and even proved that we can do a faire two weekends in a row (sort of). Now, all I need to do now is remember to - Oh, look! A chicken!

Judgment Day *shudder*

Wow, haven't posted for a good long while...sorry about that.

Anyway, we recieved the letter of judgment today. (Read: report card). Lowest grade was a C-. A couple of B+, and four A grades (one of them being an A-). Hopefully, I'll understand Algebra a lot better next year because most of it went over my head, bringing about the C-. I think it's safe to say that I am not a math person.

Well, at least I know I should do really well in English 1 & 2 in High School next year (I'm more of a literature person).

A Personality Test

A friend of mine, who will be known as JK here since I don't have his permission to use his name, informed me of this personality test, and so I decided to take it. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Saturday's News on a Sunday

Yes, I still have a bit of writer's block. And by the way, Dad, I got the idea. I'm normally not one to keep journals, anyway, so maybe this will help. I don't need to be constantly...let's see here...badgered to post up some content on my blog. I know that both grandmas want to see more content, but just let me THINK for a second. (...Although I can't help but wonder if I speculate more than I wrtite... ...NAH.)

(Completely random note: So there IS the ability to use the tab key on this one!) Anyway, let me see here...Saturday was work party, there wasn't much to do. It was mainly more painting and checking one of D's ideas, which worked! Finished the Shadows of Undrentide expansion on Neverwinter Nights... ...again. Started a game on Hordes of the Underdark again late last night, went to bed just a little after 11 (Being a teenager, I think that some people would expect me to stay up past 1 in the morning, eh?), woke up to the sound of either a sneeze or one of the characters in the movie Dad was watching yelling out a cuss word.

As for today... ...slow. And QUIET. I have not seen ARM at all this morning, but I do remember hearing him say "I'm awake" over and over. KOed after that. Mainly been online since nine, so of course things have been slow for me. And I'm completely out of ideas to put down, so I guess this wraps this post up.

...Blog Title Says All

You know what I hate most? Writer's block. Especially when you have it during times like this. So! A blog. Mom can't believe that she and dad are actually allowing me to use one, but I find it useful.

All you need to know about me is that you may call me Kimberlyn, Kimber, or my user name of Silvia. First person who calls me Kim will most likely be informed he who is the world's oldest fourteen year old is already present with a blog of his own and will be directed there. And the first person who calls me Kimberly will also be informed that the name is a brand of toilet paper and that there is a distinct N at the end.

As for the day, it involved the following: attempting to get my little brother off the computer so that way I could play Neverwinter Nights, washing both the van and the truck, and the upcoming madrigal rehearsal which is REALLY cutting my time short. Maybe I should have made the first entry AFTER home fair... Mom started hers just before Radcon, though, so this must be a tradition now. [/sarcasm]

Okay, I'm done.
